Barber must average 50 yards per game over the final three weeks to set a career high in rushing yards (he had 1,387 two years ago) and 93 yards per game to break Joe Morris’ single-season team rushing record of 1,516 yards, set in 1986. He must average 84 yards a game to break Rodney Hampton’s franchise career record of 6,897 yards.
