Arrington, LaVar (New York Giants) (08/10/2006) : LB LaVar Arrington (knee) will not play in Friday's preseason opener. "Naturally, I’m concerned any time the players aren’t out on the field," coach Tom Coughlin said. "But as I said the other day, we’re in the process of developing a way in which we can manage this thing with him. As we go forward, we’ll be under those guidelines. If we get him back next week, that will be fine. I’ll be okay with that."
