A Strahan Sighting

While he only came out to ride the stationary bike, the sight of Michael Strahan in uniform out on the practice field was a pleasant one.

Of course, Strahan remains out with his mid-foot sprain, but hope has improved that New York's Pro Bowl DE will be able to return to work as soon as next week in Tennessee, if not the following Sunday against Dallas.

Luke Petitgout, who broke his leg against the Bears, is also listed as out. The Giants, holding out hope for a miraculous recovery, have yet to place Petitgout on Injured Reserve.

The only player added to the injury list on Friday was David Tyree, who missed practice with a groin injury. Tyree was listed as questionable along with Carlos Emmons, who's expected to play Monday night, Brandon Short, who's not, and Sinorice Moss. New York's second-round pick completed his first full practice in months on Thursday and said on Friday that he felt good. While it's uncertain whether or not he'll suit up this week, it's certainly not out of the question.

Both Sam Madison and Osi Umenyiora are listed as doubtful for Monday night's contest in Jacksonville.
