The Giants have finally settled on their their new quarterbacks coach. Chris Palmer's assignment? Simple and complex at the same time: fix whatever's been ailing franchise signal-caller Eli Manning.

Palmer, the former head coach in Cleveland, has also been an assistant with Tom Coughlin in Jacksonville, New England, Houston and Dallas.

While QBs such as Drew Bledsoe, Mark Brunell and Tony Romo this season have enjoyed success under Palmer's tutelage, other highly-touted prospects such as David Carr and Tim Couch have failed miserably.
