Giants coach Tom Coughlin was pleased to see number 10 firing on all cylinders.

The fortunes of Manning’s backup, Jared Lorenzen, were not quite as good Monday afternoon. J-Lo hurt his ankle when CB Kevin Dockery ran into him during a practice drill. Lorenzen had his ankle wrapped and missed one drill, but returned to the workout.
“It’s going to take a little bit to see if it swells,” Coughlin said.
Dockery drew a tongue-lashing from Coughlin, who reminded all the defenders that they shouldn’t hit the quarterback under any circumstances in practice. But the coach was generally pleased with the team’s first post-game practice.
“The intensity was good, probably too good at some points,” Coughlin said. “They were focused. It’s normal when you come out and you need to make some corrections to be aggressive about making those corrections and I think we certainly were. But we had some people on the ground today, which we can’t afford to do. We had to talk about that a little bit. You don’t want to take away their aggressiveness, but you have to be smart.”…
Four players who missed Saturday night’s game returned to practice today: Wide receiver Amani Toomer (knee), defensive tackle Fred Robbins (calf) and cornerbacks Aaron Ross (gluteus) and E.J. Underwood (hip).
Those who missed practice were wide receiver Plaxico Burress (ankle), tight end Kevin Boss (shoulder), wide receiver Marco Thomas (groin), kicker Lawrence Tynes (calf), safety Michael Stone (hip), linebacker Gerris Wilkinson (knee), center Todd Londot (ankle), long-snapper Ryan Kuehl (calf) and cornerback Travonti Johnson (hip).
