Giants sign insurance CB

The Giants have signed CB Reggie Stephens as insurance for the nicked up secondary. A native of Dallas, Texas, Stephens was born on February 21, 1975.

Ken Palmer of the the Giant Insider let us know a few weeks ago that the Giants had a few players in for workouts, including cornerback Reggie Stephens.

The Giants released Stephens early in 2001, and he was inactive for the season.

The Chiefs signed Stephens in 2002 and released him on August 26.. Stephens worked out for a few teams, but remained unsigned until today.
