RDE Kenny Holmes said he feels a lot better and plans to play Monday when the
Giants face off with Philadelphia. Holmes is still feeling the affects of his
triceps injury, but plans to practice more and more as the week wears on and
play, "unless they tell me otherwise."
TE Jeremy Shockey will most likely practice either Wednesday or Thursday and
the Giants are extremely hopeful that he'll play against the Eagles.
CB Will Peterson is also expected back in action by mid-week, probably as
early as Wednesday, and should be ready to start in Philly.
RB Delvin Joyce continues to impress Jim Fassel. Not only will Joyce continue
to return punts, but Fassel said that he could also see some reps at RB.
"It's a crowded backfield, but he could get an opportunity," Fassel said.
RDT Keith Hamilton's Achilles' tendon surgery went off without a hitch.
According to Jim Fassel, Hamilton told him that he's ready to start rehab.
"He said he was over feeling sorry for himself," Fassel said.
