Tight end Jeremy Shockey has quickly become a Giants' fan favorite, evoking
images of another Giants tight end great, MARK BAVARO. Shockey, the club's
first-round choice from Miami, leads all NFC rookie tight ends with 16
receptions for 209 yards
Wide receiver Tim Carter, perhaps the team's
fastest player, has returned from an injury and has high hopes for the second
half of the season.
Rookie free agent kicker Matt Bryant has converted all
10 of his field-goal attempts, and seventh-round choice Daryl Jones is
averaging 21.0 yards per kick return.
