Another WR down for the season

The Giants receiving corps got thinner on Sunday when rookie WR Tim Carter tore his right Achilles' tendon, and is now out for the season.

When the Giants lost WR Ike Hilliard,k they were down to four healthy receivers and changed Sean Bennett's position officially to receiver.

On Sunday, the Giants receiving corps was reduced once again to four healthy bodies when they lost rookie WR Tim Carter for the season.

The Giants were offense was on the Minnesota Vikings' 13-yard line and it was third-and-three yards to go.

Carter was lined up wide to the right, planted his foot at the line of scrimmage, and immediately tore his right Achilles' tendon on take-off.

The Giants remaining healthy receivers include Amani Toomer, Ron Dixon, rookie Daryl Jones and recently converted RB Sean Bennett.
