Giants Sign 6 UDFAs

With the Giants 2008 Draft class in place, Jerry Reese and his scouting staff sought out in search of this year's Craig Dahl, an undrafted rookie free agent that contributes, as Dahl did heavily down the stretch last season. TGI now introduces you to the six newest Giants.

The group of acquisitions includes four offensive linemen: guards Andrew Bain of Miami and Camell Stewart of LSU, center Digger (Glenn) Bujnoch of Cincinnati and tackle Dylan Thiry of Northwestern. The other two players are defensive tackles Joshua Muse of Louisiana Tech and Ogemdi Nwagbuo of Michigan State.

The Giants also released two players: defensive back Andrew Shanle and tight end Marcus Freeman, both of whom were on the practice squad at the conclusion of the 2007 season. Both players signed free agent contracts with the team on Feb. 6.

Shanle joined the Giants' practice squad on Dec. 15, while Freeman signed on Jan. 8, prior to the Giants' second postseason game.
