Tom Coughlin was extremely "saddened" by the organization's decision to suspend Plaxico Burress through the Oct. 5 Seattle game.

Tom Coughlin was extremely "saddened" by the organization's decision to suspend Plaxico Burress through the Oct. 5 Seattle game.

"It's a franchise decision," Coughlin said. "Ownership was involved. Nobody wants this to happen."
