Every Giant practiced Thursday but guard Jason Whittle. The Giants have three
players still listed as questionable: returner Delvin Joyce (shoulder),
cornerback Will Peterson (burner) and linebacker Nick Greisen (foot). But
Fassel said he expects everyone could be ready for the game in Indianapolis
on Sunday.
"Obviously, Ron Dixon (who had knee surgery last week but remains on the
roster) will not play, but everybody else has a chance," Fassel said. "I'm
sure there will be a couple of them at the end that may not make it. I have
to put some guys down (on the inactive list). I may put some guys down that
have a chance getting re-injured."
* Fassel said he will monitor the scores Sunday of the games being played by
Atlanta and New Orleans, the two teams the Giants are battling for the final
NFC playoff berth.
"I'm not going to have them give me a score-by-score deal, but I'll be
getting it," he said.
However, he will not pass along the information to the players.
"We'll be playing at the same time they are," Fassel said. "I'm not going to
(disrupt) our focus coming down to the last two minutes of the game. I'm sure
if both of those two teams win, it will be announced over the loudspeaker in
the stadium."
