Giants, Browns DID Talk

TGI has confirmed that the Giants and Browns actually did discuss a trade during Saturday’s first day of the NFL Draft.

But the deal had nothing to do with Braylon Edwards. Not once all day did the Giants inquire about Edwards’ availability nor did Cleveland offer him to New York.

However, the Browns did attempt to move up from early in the second round for Big Blue’s 29th selection. But the Browns didn’t sweeten the pot enough, Jerry Reese held onto the pick and the Giants selected Hakeem Nicks.
