Today looks like the day. For weeks and months there has been speculation of exactly when the Giants and their franchise signal-caller, Eli Manning, would agree to a hefty contract extension.

The deal, which will make Manning the highest-paid player in the NFL, is expected to be signed by the end of the day.

With only one season remaining on his deal, the Giants knew they had to pay the man – and they most certainly did.

The two sides reportedly h ave agreed on six additional years, making the entire deal a seven-year, $106.9 million pact. Manning’s average annual intake will be a whopping $15.2 million.
