Head coach Jim Fassel has selected Turk Schonert as the Giants new quarterbacks coach.
Schonert was the quarterbacks coach with the Panthers in 2001 under George Seifert, but was out of football in the 2002 season.
After a 10 year career in the NFL, he began his coaching career in 1992 with the Buccaneers, and has also worked with the Buffalo Bills.
