While it's obvious that the Giants definitely need a linebacker in the worst way, there's nothing set in stone saying that Big Blue has to use its top pick to grab an MLB. And there shouldn't be much debate that the Giants could use even more help at corner, where both Corey Webster
and Aaron Ross
are coming off mostly disappointing seasons.
The 5-11, 190-pound Haden is a cover corner that plays with a degree of physicality. During his time as a Gator he proved capable of locking down some of the country's top receivers. While Haden could stand to get a little stronger at the point of attack, he seems to have enough athleticism and ability to warrant being selected with the 15th overall selection.
Will the Giants pull the trigger on Haden? Not even they know for sure at this point. Stay tuned…
