Sweet start: Brandon Jacobs busted off a 27-yard gain on his first run of the game. Slow beginning for MJ: Michael Johnson made two big miscues on the Lions’ game-opening touchdown march, hardly helping his cause in holding off rookie Kenny Phillips. Sidelines: Former Giants offensive tackle Roman Oben was on hand working the sidelines for WFAN radio. MIA: New York’s injured quartet of receivers – Plaxico Burress, Steve Smith, David Tyree and Mario Manningham – all missed the Lions game.
