Running back Brandon Jacobs (knee) and wide receiver Domenik Hixon (ankle/foot) both missed practice for a second straight day on Thursday. Justin Tuck (lower leg) and tackle Kareem McKenzie (back) both returned to practice today after sitting out yesterday, while cornerback Aaron Ross (ankle) went through a full practice today after being limited yesterday.
Here are Tom Coughlin’s comments regarding three of the injured players:
On Jacobs: “He feels a little better each day. But he didn’t practice today. We will see how he is tomorrow.”
On Hixon: “He is getting better. He thought he could go today, but the doctor wanted him to have another day.”
On Tuck: “He is all right. He does usually what he does. We call him limited. He does about half the snaps … during the week and he is ready to go.”
