Tight end Jeremy Shockey was the top vote-getter among all NFL rookies in Pro Bowl balloting by fans on NFL.com. Shockey received
513,008 votes, more than double the votes received by the runner-up rookie, Carolina defensive end Julius Peppers (246,652).
A record 51 million votes were cast by fans on NFL.com this year. Fan voting finished on NFL.com Dec. 13. Players and coaches will vote
no later than tomorrow. The Pro Bowl squads will be announced Thursday. The consensus ballots of NFL fans, players and coaches each
count one-third toward determining the 43-man rosters that will represent the NFC and AFC at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu.
Jim Fassel said that he thinks RB Tiki Barber should be a lock for the Hawaii classic.
"I would expect Tiki Barber to go to the Pro Bowl this year," Fassel said. "There are good running backs, but I don't know what running
back is playing better than Tiki Barber is. He deserves it. I definitely think he deserves it. There is no question in my mind."
