| Ron Dayne is a model of inconsistency. Despite displaying the rare combination of power, size, and athletic ability, he rarely plays the game at his skill level. He can break through tackles and is agile, but doesn’t run with authority. Despite having the ability to either run inside or outside, Dayne lacks the aggression to be an every down back. Though having adequate hands, he has never been a threat in the passing game and his blocking skills are below average. Dayne remains an intriguing back despite the lingering issues regarding his inconsistency. |
