| Marcellus Rivers is a raw and unpolished player with significant ability despite average speed and overall quickness. Rivers has the potential to be a solid receiver, displaying the ability to fight off defenders, to make the tough reception, and the size and strength to overpower a defensive back or linebacker. Although he tends to lose focus at times, he remains a viable and interesting prospect. Rivers blocking skills need improving if he is to become a solid contributor from the tight-end position. Fundamentally, he is inconsistent and does not utilize his size and strength in the blocking scheme. |
