Biography:
How Acquired: Signed as an unrestricted free agent by the Vikings March 4, 2006 after being one of several cap-related cuts by the New York Giants.

Injury History: Missed two games in 2005 with the Giants due to a knee injury. Missed two games with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2002 with a back injury.

2005: Played in 14 games at guard for the Giants, but didn’t start any.

2004: Acquired by the Bucs in a trade with the Giants Aug. 31, 2004 to solidify an offensive line wracked with injuries. Started all 16 games (15 at left guard and one at center) – only his second year as a full-time starter.

2003: Played in all 16 games with the Buccaneers, including five starts at left guard.

2002: Started all 14 games – 13 at left guard and one at center.

2001: Played in 16 games, starting two at guard – one at left guard and one at right guard. Played primarily on special teams.

2000: Played in all 16 games as a long snapper.

1999: Played in all 16 games as long snapper and saw limited action with the offense, playing two games at left guard and one at center.

1998: Spent the first 14 games of his rookie season on the practice squad before being called up to the 53-man roster to play vs. the Eagles in the regular-season finale.

College: A four-year letter winner at Southwest Missouri State. Played defensive line as a freshman before making the move to the offensive line. Played right offensive tackle his final three seasons. Was a second-team All-Gateway Conference selection as a senior and an honorable mention All-GC as a junior. Was voted to the conference’s all-academic team his final three seasons. Was given the Arthur Briggs Award in 1995, an honor given to the team’s top scholar athlete.

Personal: Is married, and he and his wife Natalie have three daughters – Clair, Olivia and Annie. Has been involved with distributing holiday food baskets, the Ronald McDonald House, the United Way, the Boys and Girls Club and area school reading programs. Was a two-way starter at offensive tackle and defensive end at Camdenton (Missouri) High School and earned all-state honors as a senior. Was a three-sport athlete who excelled in football, basketball and tennis.
