Second-round draft choice of the Giants in the 1997 draft.
One of the most versatile and productive players in the NFL and arguably the Giants most valuable offensive player…Has 7,080 total yards (2,806 rushing, 2,552 receiving, 1,176 punt returns, 544 kickoff returns and 2 fumble yardage), good for sixth on the franchise's career list. Barber is sixth on the Giants career list with 284 receptions. He is ninth in rushing with 2,806 yards and is fourth in Giants history in punt return yardage with 1,176. In 2000 he set a franchise record with 2,085 all-purpose yards (1,006 rushing, 719 receiving, 332 on punt returns and 28 on kickoff returns). In 1999, Barber set a Giants record for most receptions by a running back in a season with 66.
